Whether you’re visiting for a regular check-up, an urgent care visit, or COVID-19 testing, we want you to know that we put your health and safety first. We are welcoming all patients at MainStreet Family Care and KidsStreet Urgent Care. While our day-to-day lives have changed, we’re still doing what we’ve always done. We’re providing you and your family with quality, affordable healthcare. In addition, here are the practices and procedures we keep in place to keep KidsStreet safe for you and your family to visit.
Providing Masks
If you don’t already have a mask, we’re happy to provide you with one when you check-in at the front desk. The CDC recommends that everyone–sick or healthy–wear a facemask in public places. It is important to wear a facemask that covers your mouth and nose. If we all do our part to protect ourselves and the people around us.
PPE
Our clinic staff has been provided with the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to keep themselves and you safe from the spread of illness. The MainStreet Family is well-trained on the appropriate use of this protective gear and abides by all guidelines and best practices provided by the CDC.
Social Distancing
With only patients and the parents or guardians allowed in the clinic, there is plenty of room for patients to sit 6 feet apart in the waiting room. Even if you don’t feel the need to practice social distancing, we’re asking that patients do. This is not only for yourself, but as courtesy and safety precaution to others. This in addition to handwashing, using hand sanitizer, and wearing a mask will help keep us all safe and healthy.
Wait in Your Vehicle
If you are not comfortable waiting in the waiting room, you are welcome to wait in your vehicle. Our staff can call or text you when it is time to visit with the provider. When you first walk-in and speak to the front desk staff, you will receive a mask. After you are done filling out your paperwork, provide them with the phone number you would like to be reached when it is time for your visit.
Sanitze for Safety
Safety first! In addition, we are continually sanitizing the waiting room and all areas of the clinic. We’re sanitizing our clinic top to bottom, day-in, and day-out. It is important to us that we provide the most sanitary environment possible for the wellbeing of our patients and our community.
Lastly, a simple reminder to be kind and courteous to other patients. Please bring a mask or wear one that we provide at the clinic. The CDC recommends that everyone — sick or healthy — wear a facemask in public. Once you come to the back of the clinic, it can sometimes be hard to stay 6 feet away from others. Be sure to give other patients and staff the space they need–in the waiting room or in the other areas of the clinic. If we all do our part, we can keep each other healthy by putting safety first.
